RAIN:
Rain's movie given name and surname is Ocampo. She is portrayed by American actress; Michelle Rodriguez. In the novel 'Genesis" written by Keith R.A. DeCandido, her surname is 'Melendez' as DeCandido had no idea what the characters names were other than their first.

Originally in the call letter, Rain was to be seventeen and would die first, J.D. taking the part of where Rain dies later on. Fun fact.

The character herself as Michelle explains is head on. A go-getter, not caring about anything else other than what she has to do. Rain is both a sarcastic and hard edge tomboy whom is also friends with J.D. Salinas.
