Bio: When first waking up for the first time, as if Alice had been reborn, we see her as vulnerable, and scared. Later, we are informed she's a soldier. And all that training goes a long way. Alice lives to help people, though all she had wanted to do was bring the corporation down, in the end she realizes how precious lives can be.

This blonde is both ass kicking and strict, but has a smart street sense and book smart sense to her. As well as she can be motherly. We see alot of interaction between her, Matt and Rain.

Bio: We learn in the novel by DeCandido that Rain is a cop, who was sick of pushing around ...basically craptastic wannabe cops, and was so good, but rejected because of her gender from SWAT. So, Umbrella comes into the picture.

In the beginning, Rain is a tough fighting ass kicking machine. She'll kick your ass and then take your name. Good friends with J.D Salinas her team partner, Rain takes 'custody' of Matt for a while, having cuffed him for being suspicious. She is a smart woman with a keen sense, and a sick and disturbed sense of humor.

As Michelle Rodriguez put it. Rain is "Woosh". Cut to the point, right to the point. But there's also a vulnerablity there, as she becomes sicker... she loses a little more of her 'attitude' though not much. But enough to let her defenses down for a while. She cared for her team. Alice and her become friends, but Rain reluctant and stubborn Rain has to see it all through till the very end.
